Deadline: Ongoing Opportunity
The Platten Family Fund is now open for applications.
The Fund is now seeking to broaden its remit to support a greater array of skills training services for individuals to help them secure and maintain employment, and applications are invited from charitable organisations to apply for a grant of between £1,000 and £10,000 to provide employability training and/or soft/life skills that promote independent living such as cookery and financial management.
The Platten Family Fund was established in 2014 with several very generous donations from a Blyth-based family.
The Fund exists to support education and training projects, particularly around engineering, for the benefit of people living in the North East of England.
