The Haringey Giving is seeking applications for its Together We Can Fund to enable local people, community groups and organisations to come together to take action and make improvements on the things that matter to them in their local area.
Through this fund, Haringey Giving will support activities that:
- Are developed and delivered by local people
- Focus on matters which are important for local people and groups and help address some of the underlying causes of these matters
- Help share and develop local knowledge, skills, ideas and capacity
Priorities
- The three priorities are:
- Children and young people with reference to community safety, knife and gun crime
- Mental health including people experiencing social isolation
- Skills and enterprise with reference to people living in Haringey who are refugees or from migrant communities
Funding Information
- This fund is open for applications between £1,000 and £5,000.
- The total budget for the fund is £45,000. This funds is made possible by public donations to Haringey Giving appeal and support from Linklaters LLP, LHC Community Benefit Fund and Related Argent.
- They expect to support between 8 and 12 applications, depending on the level of demand. They will award funding at the levels requested by applicants.
- You do not need to include any other money from any other place for this fund (match funding) and they will not treat you more favourably if you do include any other money.
Eligibility Criteria
- This fund is for constituted and unconstituted not-for-profit groups, organisations, social enterprises and charities.
- If you are an unconstituted group which does not have bank account in its own name, they will ask you to nominate your ‘Supporting Partner’. A ‘Supporting Partner’ will manage funding on your behalf. Your ‘Supporting Partner’ should be a legal entity, for example, a not-for-profit organisation or a register charity.
Who cannot apply?
- Individuals
- Commercial or profit distributing companies
- Public Sector agencies / organisations.
