Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program in Czech Republic

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See is seeking proposals for its Small Grants Program. The aim of the grants program is to further U.S. foreign policy goals, in particular goals the embassy share with the Holy See.

The Embassy prefers to provide initial funding for maximum impact projects that have the potential to be long-term, self-sustaining, and have a multiplier effect.  Short-term programs, events, or workshops will also be considered. The project should, when applicable, include a media or public outreach component that promotes awareness for the project, e.g. through a press conference, event launch, social media, video, etc.

Grant proposals should promote one or more of the following U.S. Embassy to the Holy See policy objectives:

Funding Information

Embassy grants will be no more than $10,000, and more likely to grant requests for smaller amounts ($2,000-$5,000).

Proposals must be submitted in English and should be no longer than 3 pages. The Embassy strongly suggest applicants to cover the following points:
