The Community Foundation for Staffordshire has launched the Children’s Holiday Fund to help with the cost of family holidays or for educational residential trips.
The Children’s Holiday Fund can award small grants of up to £250, to help to pay for the cost of holidays or trips. Preference is usually given to educational holidays that are arranged through a school or college, although private and family holidays will be supported if the need can be demonstrated.

- You can apply for a grant of up to £250.
Eligibility Criteria
- Children aged between 4 and 17, (from the day of their 4th birthday to the day before their 18th birthday)
- For SEND pupils they may consider applications for people up to 25 years old
- Resident in Stoke on Trent, or one of the following areas of the Staffordshire Moorlands; Werrington, Wetley Rocks, Cheddleton, Leekbrook, Longsdon, Endon, Stockton Brook
- Need a holiday as part of recuperation or as respite from a difficult family situation OR as part of an educational trip
- Have parents or guardians who are unable to fund the trip themselves
