Applications are now open for The Denver Foundation’s Deane Early Learning Equity Grant that aims to address systemic barriers within early learning environments for Colorado children birth-8 years old who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
The Foundation inspires people and mobilize resources to strengthen their community. To achieve their vision, they will be proactive, collaborative, and resolute leaders in reducing racial disparities.
Funding Information
- The Deane Family Fund anticipates awarding three, 3-year grants to qualified non-profits (501(c)(3) organizations).
- Each grant will total $300,000 with an annual award of $100,000.
Ineligible Funding
- Capital projects
- Child care/early learning tuition
- Public, private, or charter schools
- Supplies, materials, or salaries/benefits that are a regular part of doing business (i.e., no supplanting funds)
Eligibility Criteria
- Your organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, or have a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor.
- This application is open to organizations across Colorado.
- They encourage applications from BIPOCled organizations and/or those who are meaningfully partnering with BIPOC-led community organizations for project design and implementation.
