UNICEF Call for Applications to Improve Maternal & Child Health in Maluku (Indonesia)

Deadline: 27-Jul-22

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN) and Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH) are pleased to issue the first Yemen Round under the Moving Integrated, Quality Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Services, Voluntary Family Planning, and Reproductive Health Care (MNCH/FP/RH) to Scale (MOMENTUM) Annual Program Statement.

The Yemen Round will improve maternal, newborn, and child health outcomes in at least 20 Republic of Yemen Government (ROYG) districts by focusing USG assistance on improved access, utilization and quality of high impact Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH) services in selected governorates of the country. This project will build upon lessons learned and gains made through the current Systems Health and Resiliency Project (SHARP).

USAID’s goal for Yemen MOMENTUM is to improve maternal, newborn and child health outcomes.

Funding Information

Geographic Coverage: The Yemen MOMENTUM Round will emphasize a district level approach with focus on a minimum of 20 ROYG covered districts based on relevant criteria. This criteria first takes into consideration the security context and also includes but is not limited to population size, health indicators, and relevance to health programming in proposed district target governorates. Applicants will propose target districts to be approved in the final determination process. A review of geographic coverage will take place at least annually.
