Applications are now open for the Variety Thrive Kids Grant Program to provide practical equipment to help WA kids develop and thrive. This includes items that promote behavioural regulation, physical development, independence, wellbeing, social inclusion and more.
Categories
- Sensory: $2,000
- Medical: $5,000
- Mobility: $5,000 to $10,000
Eligibility Criteria
- The child you are applying for must reside in WA
- The child you are applying for must be aged 0-17 (they must be under 18 at the time of submission)
- The child you are applying for must have a disability or long-term health condition that is diagnosed by a health professional
- Your family household income needs
- The equipment you’re seeking funding for must not available via government funding or alternative sources
Additional Information
- Variety Thrive Kids Grant rounds are typically open between January and November, current information will be available on the Variety WA website
- Submissions are reviewed by the Kids Support Committee; a group of qualified professionals representing the allied health, community and education sectors
- Outcomes are communicated 4-6 weeks after the closing date of your application round
- The outcome may be delayed if your submission requires additional review
