The Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) Frederick County Grants Program support programs that empower women ages 18 and over in challenging situations to improve the quality of their lives.
Funding is available to organizations with projects that focus specifically on empowering Frederick County women experiencing challenging situations.
Funding Information
- The Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick County will award a total of $280,000 to local nonprofits serving women in Frederick County.
- Minimum request: $1,000
- Maximum: $40,000
Duration
- Grant must be used during the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Community Foundation award grants to nonprofits with 501c3 status, a government agency applying for an extraordinary project that is not funded by tax revenue, a faith-based organization requesting funding for non-sectarian activities and civic groups that are not a 501c3 requesting funding for a community cause.
- The Community Foundation fund fiscally sponsored organizations.
- Organizations that offer programs and/or services that promote self-sufficiency for women in Frederick County in Frederick County, Maryland are eligible to apply.
