Lake Macquarie City Council offers support for curatorial projects, public programs, arts education, digital arts, documentation, design and marketing. Your placement can focus on an area of interest or enable you to explore various aspects of arts.
The Museum of Art and Culture Yapang is accepting applications for its Yapang Arts Placement to a pathway for First Nations creatives into the arts.
The aim of the placement is to enable you to develop your portfolio, build industry contacts and assist further career opportunities
They offer support for curatorial projects, public programs, arts education, digital arts, documentation, design and marketing. Your placement can focus on an area of interest or enable you to explore various aspects of arts.
Funding Information
- Each successful applicant will receive a bursary of $4000. Payments will be made in three sets, $1,300 at the start of the placement, $1300 mid way through and the final $1400 at the conclusion of the placement.
Eligibility Criteria
- This program is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the greater Lake Macquarie area.
