Shout out loud! Raise your voice for a difference
Every human has rights, and it is rightly said by Nelson Mandela, “To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity.” To spread the message of humanity and equality, we mark Human Rights Day every year on 10th December. The primary purpose behind this day is that everyone must fight for their rights and raise voice against its violation.
This year’s theme “Recover Better: Stand Up for Human Rights“, relates to the COVID-19 pandemic and focuses on the need to build back better by ensuring Human Rights are central to recovery efforts. In these unprecedented times, there is a need of best practices to make human rights central to COVID-19 response and recovery as this pandemic has spread to all corners of the globe fueled by deepening poverty, rising inequalities, and other gaps in human rights protection.
Therefore, to celebrate this day, we have compiled Human Rights-based opportunities by several donors to support NGOs and their projects.
