USAID Global Fund for Women – Localization Activity

The Global Fund for Women – Localization Activity will enable a greater share of USAID resources to be programmed directly with frontline women’s organizations globally, simultaneously advancing USAID priorities on gender equality and locally led development. The activity will provide an efficient way to provide sub awards to local organizations, enabling a rapid response to emerging challenges and opportunities in development and humanitarian assistance while centering feminist and women-led organizations at the heart of any response.
USAID Development Innovation Ventures Program

Through a year-round grant competition, Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) sources proposals for innovations that address international development challenges and improve the lives of people living in poverty in developing countries around the world.
DIV provides tiered funding to pilot, test, and transition to scale (i.e., grow to reach the highest number of beneficiaries possible) those innovations that demonstrate evidence of impact, cost-effectiveness, and the potential to scale.

USAID: Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Research Annual Program Statement

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH) is pleased to announce the Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Research Annual Program Statement (APS).
Goal: Contribute to USAID’s behavioral science investments to advance research and technical assistance that improves the health of women, men, children, and their communities, and to strengthen local capacity to design, lead, and monitor SBC research and learning efforts in USAID-assisted countries.
The purpose of the SBC Research APS is to strengthen the generation and utilization of SBC evidence to improve the uptake and continuation of healthy behaviors, including but not limited to healthy spacing and timing of pregnancies, care-seeking at onset of illness, adequate complementary feeding, childhood immunizations, use of health and nutrition services, and other health outcomes.
Expression of Interest: Western Kenya Sanitation Project

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is inviting applications for the Western Kenya Sanitation Project (WKSP) to create a financially sustainable, transformative, replicable, and locally owned sanitation marketplace in the target counties of western Kenya.
Objectives
- Increased access to and uptake of market-based improved sanitation and faecal sludge management (FSM) products and services;
- Increased access to and uptake of marketbased improved menstrual hygiene management (MHM) products and services at the household level and
- Strengthened policy and regulatory environments and increased capacity of county government officials to effect lasting change in sanitation management
USAID/Mali: Grants for Global Development Alliance Annual Program

Objectives
The specific objectives of this GDA APS are to:
- Foster inclusive and sustainable agriculture-led growth
- Catalyze agricultural investments that strengthen resilience among people and systems
- Improve productivity of agricultural market systems to promote a well-nourished population, especially among women and children
- Expand job opportunities and job skills training among priority populations in targeted geographies.

USAID/Guinea & Sierra Leone Open Call for Private Sector

USAID/Guinea & Sierra Leone seeks to engage the private sector in finding solutions to development challenges through creative, market-based approaches that will contribute to development in Guinea and Sierra Leone. USAID/Guinea & Sierra Leone calls for private sector solutions to strengthen the health system, improve good governance, and increase economic opportunities for youth and women.
The mission invites entities (private and non-private) to submit concepts. USAID/Guinea & Sierra Leone welcomes consortiums composed of multiple local and/or international private sector entities. Concepts must mobilize and leverage private sector resources at a level that equals and preferably exceeds the level of resources allocated by USAID/Guinea & Sierra Leone.
