Applications are now open for the Xiaomi Imagery Awards to know your story through your lens.

The Prizes in the Contest (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Prize’) in each category are: Category Grand Prize Winner Photo of the Year (1 Winner) $10,000 USD; Xiaomi Creator Honorable Mentions (15 Winners) Xiaomi Creator recognition; Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

Participants must be of legal age and have the full legal capacity in the territory in which they reside when they participate in the Contest. To participate, the Participant must have a personal Mi Account or be validly registered on local mi.com as well as a valid personal email address, which will be necessary in order to contact the Winners and deliver the Prizes. Inaccurate or erroneous data provided by the Participant will not be accepted in the Contest.

The Participant must be able to prove, at the Organizer’s request and within a reasonable period of time, that they are eligible to participate in the Contest prior to participation and/or at any time during the duration of the Contest. Otherwise, the Organizer may disqualify the Participant at any time.

Excluded from the Contest are persons cooperating with the Organizer (entities and employees of entities providing services to the Organizer in organizing the Contest), employees and cooperators of the Organizer, as well as their descendants, ascendants, affinities, adoptees, members of their families and relatives (siblings, spouses, parents of spouses).

The selection procedure takes place in two stages. In the first stage, a Committee will evaluate Contest Entries based on attractiveness, originality, and creativity, awarding each entry up to 100 points. Based on these scores, 100 Contest Entries in the “Photo of the Year” category and 15 Winners in the “Xiaomi Creator Honorable Mentions” category (limited to Participants who uploaded more than 5 Contest Entries) will advance to the next stage.

In the second stage, a Jury of four members will evaluate the shortlisted entries based on subject, composition, lighting, emotion, creativity, and quality, awarding each up to 40 points. From this evaluation, one Winner will be selected in the “Photo of the Year” category.

No later than December 31, 2025, the Organizer shall publish selected best Contest Entries on Organizer’s Social Media, including Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Contest Page, and Xiaomi Community.

Participants are invited to upload their photos (hereinafter referred to as “Contest Entries”) through three submission channels, Community Channel through Xiaomi Community with synchronization to Xiaomi Imagery Awards 2025, or Social Media Channel by posting public images on Instagram using the official hashtags #XiaomiImageryAwards2025 or #XiaomiCapture.

Each Contest Entry must align with the Contest’s category and the slogan “Your vision, your story” and should demonstrate the Participant’s technical photography skills. All entries must be taken exclusively using Xiaomi mobile phones (Xiaomi / Redmi) and must include EXIF information.

The use of third-party processing software is permitted, and the image size should range between 300 KB and 50 MB. Participants must hold full copyrights to their work and ensure necessary portrait rights if other individuals appear in the photo. Content generated automatically by artificial intelligence algorithms, including ChatGPT, is not permitted.

The Organizer will contact each Winner by e-mail within ten days of publication to confirm their contact information and ensure Prize delivery. Winners must respond within ten days, failing which they may lose their titles and corresponding Prizes. Prizes are non-exchangeable for cash and non-transferable. Winners must comply with all applicable tax regulations related to the Prizes.
