On the International Youth Day the Regional Programme on Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 (ReLOaD2), financed by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organizes free certified trainings aimed at improving the skills of young people in in accordance with the needs of the market and enable them to be more competitive on the labor market.
Certified Trainings
Free certified trainings will be organized in the following areas:
- Training in the field of Google Analytics
- Google Analytics is a practical symbol of modern web analytics and is an integral part of measuring digital marketing on the analytical market, which makes it the most important certificate that proves an individual’s knowledge in this field. With expert mentoring, young people will have the opportunity to master the basics of Google Analytic tools and acquire free certificates from the Google Analytics Academy/Google Analytics for Beginners, Advanced Google Analytics. Through participation in this training, participants will learn how to analyze data and will learn more about the advanced functions of Google Analytics, including data collection, processing and configuration, as well as more complex tools for analysis and marketing.
- Duration: five weeks, three times a week (September – October 2023) Format: online Prerequisite: basic knowledge of the English language.
- Training in the field of digital marketing, communication and advertising
- Training participants will have the opportunity to get to know the world of digital marketing and advertising through advanced and dynamic training. This comprehensive program is designed to equip young people with modern marketing skills. Through training, participants will learn about creating marketing strategies, digital marketing, social networks, SWOT analysis, promotion, etc.
- Duration: six months (October 2023 – April 2024) Format: training can be attended online, as well as live in Sarajevo.
- Training in the field of accounting/bookkeeping
- The goal of this training is the additional training of young people, who, after the acquired knowledge and developed skills, will be better prepared for the labor market, where having an accounting certificate is one of the advantages for employment and professional advancement. Through the training, the participants will learn about the basics of accounting, financial and tax accounting, legal regulations, etc.
- Duration: three months (September – December 2023) Format: training can only be attended live in Sarajevo.
- Training in the field of tailoring and sewing
- Training in tailoring and sewing gives young people the opportunity to take their first steps into the world of fashion and design and acquire some of the skills in demand on the job market. Through this training, participants will master sewing skills, tailoring techniques, learn about different types of fabrics, etc. They can turn their passion for tailoring and sewing into a career or just enjoy a hobby that will develop their creative skills.
- Duration: three months (September – December 2023) Format: training can only be attended live in Sarajevo.
Dynamics of Performing Training
- The trainings will be organized and conducted based on the program of authorized certified houses from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The selected candidates will be informed in a timely manner about the dynamics of the training. The training organizer reserves the right to change the planned dynamics of the training.
Eligibility Criteria
- Young people aged 18 to 30 with the following status can participate in the trainings:
- Unemployed young people who are kept in the records of employment services/institutes (certificate of being kept in the records of unemployed persons);
- Final year undergraduate and postgraduate students (certificate of study);
- Residence in the area of 13 partner cities/municipalities/municipalities: Bihać, Centar Sarajevo, Gacko, Goražde, Grad Istočno Sarajevo, Gradiška, Mostar, Novo Sarajevo, Prijedor, Prozor-Rama, Rudo, Ugljevik and Vitez, which have the following status (proof of residence).
