The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) in partnership with Connectas is inviting journalists for the first round of Production Journalism Awards 2017 with an aim of fostering and strengthening independent and quality journalism in the region.
On this occasion the proposals will be grouped into two categories:
- Local (a story about an American country).
- Transnational (a story involving two or more countries).
Benefits
Scholarships production in cases requiring financing, including a stipend between US $ 250 and US $ 2,000, after review of the budget presented.
Eligibility Criteria
- Being a member of CONNECTASHub or resident journalist in a country of America, who has completed and successfully passed the Virtual Connectas School.
- Indispensable that they do not have any ongoing scholarship from ICFJ or CONNECTAS.
- For the development of the proposed reading “recommended journalist Latin American research in the digital age”.
