Deadline: 23-Nov-2025
The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) in collaboration with MyGov invites entries for renaming its annual flagship publication “EnviStats India: Environment Accounts.”
The initiative aims to develop a refreshed, more intuitive identity that better reflects the publication’s content, purpose, and growing relevance in the domains of sustainability, environmental policy, and data-driven governance.
Through this initiative, the Ministry emphasizes the growing importance of environmental statistics in promoting transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making. The rebranding of the EnviStats India series seeks to bridge the gap between complex environmental data and public understanding, ensuring that the publication’s identity mirrors its expanding relevance in sustainability and governance.
The participants are encouraged to study both the EnviStats India: Environment Accounts series and the Strategy for Environmental Economic Accounts in India (2022–2026) to develop innovative, meaningful, and contextually accurate name suggestions.
The contest reflects MoSPI’s commitment to inclusivity and innovation, inviting contributions from citizens who wish to make a tangible impact on how environmental information is presented and perceived.
The winner of the contest will be awarded a certificate issued by the Ministry, recognizing their creativity and contribution to enhancing India’s environmental narrative. Open exclusively to Indian nationals.
The contest will remain active until 23 November 2025.
