Nominations are now open for ACT Women’s Awards to honor individual women who have made an outstanding contribution to the lives of women and girls in the ACT.
The ACT Women’s Awards (the Awards) are presented to women who improve the status and lives of women and girls in the ACT. The assessment panel will consider the number of women impacted by the work of the nominee as well as the long-lasting nature of the impact.
If you know a woman who has made a significant contribution to the lives of women and girls in the ACT, nominating them for an award is an excellent way to celebrate their achievements.
Please note: that self-nominations will not be considered.
Eligibility Criteria
Each year, the awards recognise an:
- ACT Woman of the Year – (all nominees are considered for this category)
- ACT Young Woman of the Year (aged between 16 and 25 years); and
- ACT Senior Woman of the Year (aged over 60 years).
