Call for Applications for “Create! Include! Participate!” Project

Changemakers, are YOU ready to join and develop your project idea, include the local community and participate as an active member of the society you live in? Would you like to create a space you feel involved in, the space you love and are proud of? If yes, then apply for this new project “Create! Include! Participate!”

“Create! Include! Participate!” accepts contemporary challenges and through the online seminars is focused on youth participation, personal growth and development. On this journey you will be led by the group of experienced facilitators and pass through several phases.

• Online introductory seminar, October 12th – October 25th, 2020: The online becomes new offline! In a friendly online atmosphere you will meet young people from all over the region and exchange your ideas, experience and knowledge. Together with them, you will identify and analyze the problems you would like to work on. After two weeks of online education, you will have created a base for your future project.
• Development of grass-roots projects, November 2nd – November 15th, 2020: All big things start as an idea! In this phase, you will give a shape to your idea and enter a digital design thinking process of Understanding – Observing – Synthesizing – Ideating – Prototyping – Testing. You will work in individual virtual workspaces using collaborative online tools and at the end you will have a completed project proposal, ready for submission to the project jury!

The Programme 2020 is implemented under the name “Create! Include! Participate!” by Balkans, let’s get up! Organisation and its regional partner organisations Sense, and 7Arte, and supported by RYCO, UN Peacebuilding, THK and MitOst.

Will all events be online?

• The educational programme will fully be online. However, in spring 2021, you will be invited to Balkans, let’s get up! Forum (taking place in Belgrade, Serbia), where you will get a unique chance to present your project to the public. You will meet like-minded people from all over the Balkans, and share in the inspiration, the exchange, mutual energy and support.

What opportunities do you have if your project idea gets selected?

• Young people aged 18 to 30 living all over the Balkans.
• If you live in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, or Slovenia, you are eligible.
• Young people interested in project management and contribution to their societies.
• If you want to become an upgraded version of yourself and make a change in your society, you are eligible.
• Young people, who have an active knowledge of English and are able to discuss in English.
• If you are not proficient, that is okay. English is a communication tool, and your motivation and time to commit to each step of the program are what matters.
