The Regional Office for Youth Cooperation (RYCO), through its Local Branch Office in North Macedonia, in cooperation with the Peace Corps North Macedonia, invites interested young people to participate in online training aimed at improving skills in the areas of leadership, communication, intercultural dialogue, active youth engagement, volunteering and effective conflict resolution.
Training Objectives
- Strengthening the skills of young people is one of the main domains of the work of the RYCO Local Branch Office in North Macedonia, given the essential role of young people in contributing to the promotion of a culture of tolerance, long-term and sustainable peace. Young people are also the focus of the Peace Corps North Macedonia through both Community Development and English and Inclusive Education program. That’s why Peace Corps North Macedonia is committed to strengthening the life skills of young people, expanding their opportunities for community engagement and sustainable community development.
- Therefore, the main goal of the training is to contribute to the personal development of young people by sharing knowledge and practical examples for youth leadership.
Benefits
The online training series will last for six days and participants are expected to gain the following benefits and knowledge:
- Gain a base understanding of the concepts related to the topic of leadership
- Ability to identify sources of information on volunteering, youth participation and youth activism
- Acquiring skills for effective conflict resolution
- Ability to create conditions for effective communication that initiates intercultural dialogue
Eligibility Criteria
