Meath County Council Arts Office is pleased to announce the launch of its Spring 2023 Funding Cycle to help maximise the potential for arts provision in the county.
Meath County Council Arts Office operates a range of annual bursary and award schemes.These schemes provide funding opportunities for creative organisations, arts practitioners and groups working with the arts in the county.
Through these schemes the Arts Office aims to support a diverse range of arts activities and practice throughout county Meath.

Award Information
- Annual Arts Grant: Maximum amount available through this grant is €1000
- Community Arts Award: Maximum amount available through this grant is €2000
- Festival Grant Scheme: Maximum amount available through this grant is €3000
- Professional Artist Development Fund Round I: Maximum amount available through this grant is €1000
Eligibility Criteria
- Annual Arts Grant: This award is intended to support Meath based organisations, individuals or groups in the provision of local arts activities which enhance long-term development and sustainability of the arts in the County.
- Community Arts Award: This award is intended to support community groups and schools in the provision of community arts projects that promote engagement and enhance long-term partnerships with professional artists. This scheme is supported by Creative Ireland.
- Drama League of Ireland Bursary Award: This award, open to directors, designers and actors working in theatre and living in County Meath, is intended to fund a week-long residential stay at the Drama League of Ireland Summer School, UL.
- Festival Grant Scheme: This award is intended to support arts festivals taking place in County Meath that show a commitment to quality artistic programming.
- Professional Artist Development Fund Round I: This award is intended to support Meath based professional arts practitioners in the development of their artistic practice and/or the development of new work.
