The French Embassy to the Philippines and Micronesia has been launching a call for proposals to support a project benefiting disadvantaged populations, or in favor of sustainable development.
Objectives
- The project presented must meet the following objectives:
- Initiate medium or long term approaches to go beyond the actions occasional informational purposes only;
- Include the project in a territory by mobilizing local actors;
- The project must describe the objectives, the method, the schedule of execution as well as the human and financial means necessary for its execution.
Proposals are not limited to a particular theme – these can be related to health, environment, education, or social issues.
Funding Information
- Two winners will be selected this year. Following the evaluation of the projects, the first winner will benefit from total financial support of PHP 300,000 granted by the French Embassy in the Philippines. The second winner will receive total financial support of PHP 100,000, also granted by the French Embassy in the Philippines.
Eligibility Conditions
- Any organization under local law regularly associated with the activities implemented collectively by the network of Franco-Philippine associations can submit an application under this call.
- This grant application file must be signed by the person authorized to commit the association. Only one dossier can be submitted per association. All sections of the file must be completed.
Selection Criteria
- The call for projects is open: it does not include sectoral or thematic restrictions, provided that the projects include a training or education support component and benefit a disadvantaged community or social group.
- The selection of projects is based on the quality of the argument concerning the following criteria:
- Relevance of the project (risks and opportunities linked to the project);
- Capacity of the association to carry out the project;
- Innovative character of the project;
- Beneficiary impact measures and sustainability conditions.
Realization of the project
- The two associations selected will receive in one installment the sum corresponding to the contribution of the Embassy of France in the Philippines.
- After the completion of the project according to the predefined schedule, the association undertakes to submit to the Embassy a detailed report of its execution (number of people affected, time spent, strong and weak points of the actions carried out, etc.) a financial statement.
