Grant Information
Sudden Opportunity Grants accept proposals from networks or loosely formed coalitions spanning a minimum of 6 months and maximum 12 months, with a budget ranging from EUR 5,000 to EUR 200,000 (approx. IDR 70,000,000 to IDR 2,800,000,000).
Target Groups
- Indigenous groups and ethnic minorities.
- Age-discriminated vulnerable groups, notably the young and the elderly
- Women facing exploitation, abuse and/or violence
- People living with disabilities
Eligibility Criteria
- The organisation, or lead applicant in the case of a consortium, is a locally registered Indonesian organisation with a bank account in its own organisation name.
- The applicant/co-applicant(s) (where application is by a consortium) recognise the core values of Voice being the equal rights for every human being regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious belief, disability, sexual orientation, social class and age.
- The project is only implemented in the following provinces: Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, South Sulawesi.
How to Apply
- Take the eligibility test available on the given website.
- If applicants have passed the eligibility test, applicants need to send an email at the address given on the website to describe their collective action in 1 to 2 paragraphs. Include what the sudden opportunity is, the actions intend to take, the actors undertaking the collective action, the amount needed, and the duration.
- If the collective action meets the grant criteria, Voice will contact applicants to discuss further and send applicants an application form to complete.
