Full Basket Belize (FBB) is seeking applications for its 2019 Community Grants program to invest the donations from their contributors in communities all across Belize to support improvements in education, health, the environment, youth leadership development, and grassroots economic development.
The mission is to improve the education, health, and environment of Belizean communities and support youth and community economic development through scholarships and community grants.
Focus Areas
Project must be focused on one or more of the following areas:
- Education
- The Environment
- Health (including HIV/AIDS and Domestic Abuse)
- Grassroots Economic Development
- Youth Leadership Development
Funding Information
Funding requests cannot exceed $1,000 USD.
Eligibility Criteria
Any project funded by Full Basket Belize (FBB) must meet the following criteria:
- Projects must be community-based and implemented in Belize for the benefit of Belize and Belizeans, focused on above mentioned areas.
- Applicants must be non-profit organizations, including non-governmental organizations, schools, and communities, and must have an organizational bank account (or a clearly identified fiscal agent that meets the requirements above).
- FBB funds cannot be used for lobbying, staff salary, subcontractor salary, or other benefits to individuals or to promote any political parties, religion or religious beliefs.
- Projects must start and finish in the 2019 calendar year.
