Applicants are invited to submit proposals for Fund for Local Cooperation (FLC) of the Embassy of Finland in Tunis which is an instrument of Finland’s development cooperation.
The Fund is intended to support Tunisian civil society initiatives to complement bilateral aid provided by Finland for poverty reduction and the participation of civil society in the development process.
In its FCL program, the Finnish Embassy in Tunis focuses on the employability and entrepreneurship of young people and on the economic rights and financial autonomy of women.
Priorities
The priorities of the FCL call for projects in 2019 are:
- In the area of economic rights and women’s financial autonomy: access to financing for women entrepreneurs is improved
- In the youth entrepreneurship sector * : the post-creation survival rate of enterprises run by young * entrepreneurs is improved (support for business viability)
* (young = under 35)
Funding Information
The FCL allows the Embassy of Finland to grant two projects a grant of 40 000 euros each following this call for projects. Subsidized projects must start in 2019 and end before the end of 2020.
