The Raoul Wallenberg Institute Turkey Human Rights Capacity Development Programme is delighted to announce a call for applications for the Raoul Wallenberg Human Rights Research Grant Programme.
Raoul Wallenberg-Human Rights Research Grant Program (RW-İHAHP) in Turkey,
- Increasing the number of academic research and publications in human rights and humanitarian law,
- It aims to support the creation of common work spaces by encouraging young academics and independent researchers to conduct research on current human rights issues.
Funding Information
- The maximum amount awarded per research project is 22,000 TL.
- The grant period is limited to six months and ends on December 31, 2020.
- A maximum of five research projects which tackle one or more issues related to human rights in Turkey will be awarded.
Eligibility Criteria
- The citizens of the Republic of Turkey academics working in the field of human rights, master’s or doctoral students and independent researchers can apply for grants.
- During the research the person who the applicant is required to reside in Turkey. temporarily residing outside Turkey T. C. its citizens cannot apply for a grant.
- The applicant can continue the research individually or with a research group. If the application is to be made on behalf of a research group, the applicant researcher will work as a “Research Coordinator”. Undertakes, In the event that the research is entitled to receive a grant, the research coordinator takes place as a party to the contract with the Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI).
- Research groups are formed with the participation of individuals. Research proposals, including commercial and / or government agencies, are not evaluated.
- Each applicant can participate in the program with more than one application. If more than one of the applications qualifies for a grant, only the highest rated research proposal is supported
Note: The programme is open to Turkish citizens only. Academics, graduate students, and independent scholars working on human rights related subjects are encouraged to apply.
