The Foundation Beyond Belief (FBB) is seeking applications for its Compassionate Impact Grant 2017 with an aim to unite the humanist community in charitable and volunteer efforts, and to advocate for compassionate action throughout the world. Humanist Grants strives to collectively demonstrate humanist generosity and compassion in the nonprofit and philanthropic world.
Focus Areas
- Educational development: Providing education regarding natural environments, climate change, species protection, and local environments. This educational development can be targeted to any age group.
- Economic opportunity: Increasing economic opportunities through the development of small business or techniques to increase productivity using native, natural environments, or environmental technologies.
- Healthy futures: Promoting healthy lifestyles, improving health infrastructures. Programs should concentrate on improving connections between populations and local ecosystems, and concentrate on improving the health of a population.

- Estimated available funds: $33,000 to $40,000
- Estimated award amount: $35,000
- Project Period: November 1, 2017 ‐ March, 1, 2019
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants: All applicants must be non‐profit organizations with current 501(c)3 status with United States Internal Revenue Service.
- Matching requirements: All applicants are required to provide a 1:1 cash match with documentation
- Previous applicants: Previous applicants are welcome to reapply.
