Deadline: 7-Feb-22
In the framework of its 2022 Work Programme, the French National Research Agency (ANR) proposes the MRSEI call with a continuous submission format throughout the year with four scheduled selection sessions.
Through MRSEI call, researchers working in French laboratories should have easier ability to apply to European programmes (Horizon Europe) and other international calls and thus have the opportunity to lead ambitious transnational networks.
Funding will only be provided for research networks, in all the disciplines, and that have specifically been set up to prepare and submit a collaborative project in response to a large-scale European or international call for proposals with major scientific, technological or societal impacts.
The MRSEI program was created to give the means to scientists working in French laboratories to submit a research project as coordinator to European (Horizon Europe) or international collaborative calls and thus give them the opportunity to develop ambitious interdisciplinary projects and to increase their visibility at the international level.
The proposal submitted to the MRSEI call will aim to create a scientific network made up of European or international collaborators with at least one French partner from a public research and knowledge dissemination organization. The network will be coordinated by this French partner, bearer
- of the MRSEI proposaland
- the future European or international project. This coordinating French partner will be thesole beneficiary of the ANR grant.
Funding Information
Selected projects will receive €30,000 in funding over an 24-month period. The ANR grant is purely intended to fund the setting up of the scientific network; the call is not designed to offer funding for the research itself.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any entity other than a public research and knowledge dissemination organization can participate in the network as a partner, but cannot under any circumstances claim to be a coordinating partner. SMEs, among others, are invited to apply for the systemDiagnosis International Technological Partnership of the Public Investment Bank (BPI France).
- The MRSEI program is open to all scientific fields and all research disciplines.
