Voice is seeking applications from organizations and networks for its Tanzania Influencing Grants to strengthen their lobby and advocacy capacities and amplify the voice of marginalized and discriminated groups.
Funding Information
For Tanzania, Influencing grants range from €25,000 to €200,000.
Focus Areas
- Improved access to (productive) resources (finance, land and water) and employment
- Improved access to social services, health and education in particular
- Space for political participation
Target Groups
- Women facing exploitation, abuse and/or violence
- People Living with Disability
- Age-discriminated vulnerable groups, notably the young and elderly
- Ethnic minorities
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant or the lead applicant work with Voice target groups to build their capacity to lobby or advocate for their interests or to have their voices heard (for organizations with broader objectives).
- Applicant/lead-applicant (where application is by a consortium) registered as a local entity under the laws of Tanzania with a bank account in its own name.
- Applicant/co-applicant(s) (where application is by a consortium) recognize the core values of Voice being the equal rights for every human being regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious belief, disability, sexual orientation, social class and age.
