The British Embassy in Israel and British Consulate General in Jerusalem are seeking Concept Notes for its Programme Fund.
The Embassy is seeking projects which work with Israeli and Palestinian stakeholders to effect change in one of the following areas;
- Protection of human rights of Palestinian minors in Israeli detention.
- Engaging with the Israeli authorities on improving Gaza movement and access.
Themes
The main strategic themes of the fund are:
- Democratic values and the rule of law
- The rules-based international order
- Human rights for a stable world
Eligibility Criteria
- Concept notes will be accepted from civil society, commercial organisations, governments, think tanks, other UK government departments and international organisations.
- Note: The Embassy is looking for small to medium-sized projects focused on 2017/18.
- There may be potential for multi-year funding.
- The Embassy is interested in receiving applications from entities with operations in the OPTs or experience of working with Palestinian beneficiaries.
