Vinnova is looking for actors who want to show the potential value in developing and implementing innovative IoT solutions in the public sector.
They want to encourage creative and bold ideas in new or improved ways to use IoT solutions to create benefits for residents in Sweden´s municipalities and regions. The IoT solutions will be applied in one of the three thematic areas of need for the call: Equal health, Safe public environments or Faster climate change.
Goals
In its program plan, IoT Sweden has prioritized five of the global goals:
- Objective 3: Good health and well-being.
- Objective 5: Gender equality.
- Objective 9: Sustainable industry, innovation and infrastructure.
- Objective 10: Reducing inequality.
- Objective 11: Sustainable cities and communities.
Funding Information
- In this call for Preparatory projects, a maximum of SEK 300,000 in grants can be granted per project.
- Preliminary total budget for the call Preparatory project is SEK 3,000,000.
What can you apply for?
Preliminary studies, external monitoring and investigation of possibilities for IoT solutions. Development of proof-of-concept/value. Knowledge acquisition, measurements, utility effect calculations and calculations to show expected effects.
Eligibility Criteria
- Swedish actors in the public, private or non-profit sector.
- The call is aimed at public, private and non-profit actors with operations in Sweden who want to show the potential value in introducing IoT solutions in the public sector.
- Projects can be applied for and implemented by a single organization or in collaboration between several actors. Projects can advantageously be carried out in collaboration between several companies, need owners or other public actors, innovation-promoting actors (science parks, incubators or similar), non-profit organizations or civil society.
