The Moreton Bay Regional Council is seeking applications for the Individual Achievement Grant Program to encourage and celebrate individuals who have achieved outstanding results in their chosen field.
This grant provides financial support to individuals who have qualified or been selected by a peak body to represent Queensland or Australia.
Categories
There are two categories of Individual Achievement Grants:
- Youth Achievement; and
- Commonwealth and Olympic Games.
Focus Areas
Youth Achievement: This category provides support to young people who have qualified or been selected by a peak body to represent Queensland or Australia in one of the following areas of interest:
- Sport and recreation
- Environment
- Arts and culture
- Academic excellence
- Community leaders and ambassadors
- Heritage and history
Funding Information

Youth Achievement
- Queensland representation – $200
- Australian representation – $350

Commonwealth and Olympic Games
- Commonwealth Games, Special Olympics World Games – $500
- Recognised Olympic events – $1,000
Eligible Projects

Youth Achievement
- Sporting events that are endorsed by a relevant national or state sporting organisation;
- Sporting events that are endorsed by School Sport Australia; and
- Non-sporting events that are official or elite level competitions equivalent to representing Queensland or Australia.

Commonwealth and Olympic Games
- The Commonwealth Games;
- Summer and Winter Special Olympics World Games; and
- Recognised Olympic events (Summer, Winter, Youth, and Paralympics)
Eligibility Criteria

Youth Achievement
- Reside in the Moreton Bay Region;
- Must be aged 25 years or younger at the time of the event; and
- Have been selected for one of the below eligible activities.

- Reside in the Moreton Bay Region; and
- Have been selected for one of the below eligible activities.
