Applications are now open for the 1minute Projection Mapping in Tokyo.

Due to COVID-19 and the global pandemic, they are in an era where consciousness change is required in the midst of anxiety and change, causing a heavy burden also to creators. This competition was also influenced by the pandemic and was unable to be held last year. However, they have received many voices from a lot of creators who are looking forward to its restart and they have been supported by them. And they are able to implement it again this year and they feel that all the people involved are very grateful. They would like to thank everyone who has supported them.

1 min to 1 min 59 secs International Projection Mapping Competition “1minute Projection Mapping” will be held in Tokyo in December this year. The venue is the Meiji Jingu Gaien Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery, a historical building of Meiji Jingu Gaien, right next to the New National Stadium.

1minute Projection Mapping is an international competition and one of the biggest mapping contests displaying video works onto an existing building in Asia area.

1minute Projection Mapping is an international competition and one of the biggest mapping contests displaying video works onto an existing building in Asia area.Projection mapping has been recognized as a cool and hot media art in the world. In Japan,the “1minute Projection Mapping” started in 2012, and many great artworks from the world have been demonstrated at several art festivals.It has been a great opportunity for many people to understand and enjoy “projection mapping” in open space.
