Human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) is a spectrum of conditions caused by infection with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). AIDS is a fatal disease caused by a rapidly mutating retrovirus that attacks the immune system and leaves the victim vulnerable to infections, malignancies, and neurological disorders.
HIV/AIDS has now become a curse on society, both as an illness and as a source of discrimination. Being a serious health issue worldwide, the areas most affected by HIV/AIDS are Africa, India, and China and the rate of HIV patients is increasing day by day in Asia and Pacific regions.
Despite of the progress made in mobilizing HIV, a resource gap still exists and to fill up that gap and enhance the lives of victims of HIV, donors worldwide provide funding support through their various grant programs.
We have created a list of open funding opportunities for NGOs, individuals and other organizations that are working to support HIV victims and are in need of funds to provide aid to them.
