The Glen Eira City Council’s 2022 Community Group of the Year Award is now open to recognise the outstanding contributions of a community group which, through hard work and dedication, has significantly contributed to the Glen Eira community.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible, a community group and/or a community-based organisation must be not-for-profit and operate in the City of Glen Eira.
- A community group can be nominated for its usual activities or for a special project it has implemented or completed.
Selection Criteria
A community group that is nominated must:
- have made a significant contribution to the Glen Eira community throughout 2021 and/or over a number of years;
- demonstrate that it meets a community need or priority; and
- demonstrate that it provides exceptional service to the local community.
Outstanding achievements and the demonstration of these key attributes are the basis of the awards.
