Deadline: 19-Jul-2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) Afghanistan is inviting proposals from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to implement the School Feeding Project in Farah Province.
This programme operates in regions with some of the highest levels of chronic food insecurity, low educational outcomes, and significant gender disparities. It aims to address both hunger and education gaps by supporting school-aged children.
The School Feeding initiative focuses on providing meals to primary-aged students enrolled in Primary Schools, Community-Based Education (CBE) classes, and Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP) classes, wherever these are functioning.
The sector of specialization for this project is education, with an emphasis on school meals to improve attendance, concentration, and overall student well-being.
This call for proposals is specific to Farah Province in Afghanistan, where the need for nutritional and educational support is especially critical.
