Participate in the first call for proposals to benefit from the innovation support of the IIPE-Pôle de Dakar within the framework of its Platform of expertise in vocational training!
The IIPE-Pôle de Dakar is accepting applications for its Call for Proposals to encourage the initiative and support innovative practices likely to contribute to the advancement of the operationalization of vocational training policies in Africa.
Through its support for innovation, the IIPE-Pôle de Dakar aims to promote a dynamic that encourages the development, valorization and capitalization of new approaches and ideas that have a strong potential for inspiration and contribution to the solution of The challenges of vocational training.
Funding Information
Selected practices will receive support up to a total value of US $ 30,000
Funding Priorities
The grant will be used to fund elements essential to the finalization or improvement of the practice. Support can therefore take many forms and adapt to the needs of the practices adopted. Support may, for example, include:
- Support for clarification of the positioning of the practice in relation to legal and regulatory aspects and their anchoring to the national system;
- Support in the finalization of the documentation of the practice;
- Technical support to evolve the working methodology, develop a strategy of expansion, improve the management system, etc. ;
- Support for networking with key players Support for innovation does not cover operating costs (staff costs, general administrative expenses, rent, etc.) or investments (infrastructure, equipment, vehicles, etc.).
- The selected practices will be the subject of a service contract between the IIPE-Pôle de Dakar and each of the porters.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any organization governed by private or public law , Established in one of the following 11 countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Chad and Togo and whose practice Aims to advance the operationalization of the renewed vocational training policy.
- The innovative practice must fulfill the following conditions
- In relation to its content, it shall:
- Contribute to a solution to a blocking situation or to halt the implementation of vocational training reform, by proposing creative and new approaches, or to work to adapt an existing approach to A new context.
- In relation to the progress of the practice, it must:
- Have passed the theoretical or conceptual stage. It must be already experienced and demonstrated its strengths but remain incomplete in relation to certain components and need support to evolve.
- In relation to its content, it shall:
- Practice must:
- Register in the field of vocational training;
- be innovative;
- be sufficiently advanced in its implementation;
- to justify that the elements proposed for support correspond to the types of support proposed by the IIPE Pôle de Dakar.
