We are located in NWP part of Zambia where education levels are very low due to inadequate study materials such as books to enable children acquire adequate knowledge just the urban ones do through having well stocked libraries but not in existence.
Is possible you may fund for a library construction project & reading materials equipment?
Library facilities are a big challenge in rural districts.
    Thank you!

  • Avatar Massy says:

My name is Grace Massy. I am 54. I live in Lusaka Zambia. In 1994, I lost my job with the national Airline through liquidation. This was during my prime years. Due to unknown problems, employees like me (Stenographer) were sent home with under $500. Being a single parent of 4, I had to survive.
I saw the need for early childhood education, pre and primary in my community increase due to a lot of retrenchments, redundancies and liquidations, a lot of deaths occurring due to stress, many children becoming vulnerable, the HIV/AIDS pandemic taking its toll then and effects adding on to increased OVCs. I opened a center called Gilgal Kids now trading as Babies Inn School (BIS), to provide an education. With the help and funding of a US Church Organization called Faith Fellowship in Wisconsin, I have been running BIS. (Contact references can be provided). The greatest challenge I have is to find Donors to help BIS acquire permanent structures to sustain the vision as rentals have always been a thorn in us. BIS has acquired land as a donation from welwishers, but resources to build are non-available. As I age, I worry about who can remain to sustain the Vision if not in its own premises. Others may never bear the challenge of operating costs in terms of rentals.
Our partners are only able to provide other forms of support but are willing to provide evidence of our work. BIS has contributed to 100% pass at Grade seven level since inception, and children, who would otherwise been on the street, are enlightened and achieving educational goals.

Please, please, help me find a Donor for my work. Our financial markets require so much collateral which BIS can not provide.
My CV, Tele and Address Contacts and Pictures for my work are available if needed.

    Massy, Zambia
