ESCMID is proud to continue the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) Outreach Grant once again for ECCMID 2023 taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark from April 15-18, 2023.
This grant is aimed at supporting and promoting ECCMID participation from persons residing in Low- and Lower-middle income countries.

Eligibility Criteria
- ECCMID Outreach Grantees must live/work in a Low- or Lower-middle income country as indicated by the World Bank classification for the 2023 fiscal year.
- Additionally, as a new eligibility criteria for this year, ECCMID Outreach Grant applicants must also submit an abstract in the regular abstract submission period to be eligible to receive the grant.
- Grantees of the ECCMID Outreach Grant receive free registration as well as a stipend to be used to support their flight tickets and accommodation for attending the congress.
