They primarily award grants to small non-profit organizations focusing on social services, arts and culture, education, environmental initiatives, and youth-centered missions.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Autzen Foundation welcomes applications from organizations that meet the following criteria:
- Legal Status: Applicants must be registered as charitable organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or they must be government entities, such as towns, public schools, or state agencies.
- Duration of Tax-Exempt Status: Organizations must have held a 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS for at least two years before submitting an application.
- Geographic Focus: Applicants must provide services directly to Oregon or southwest Washington (Clark County) residents.
Ineligibility Criteria
- They will not consider requests for the following:
- Individuals
- Fundraising events
- Projects primarily seeking to influence elections or legislation
- Organizations using a fiscal sponsor.
