The Alliance for Peacebuilding (AFP), in partnership with CDA Collaborative Learning Projects (CDA) and Search for Common Ground (SFCG) is seeking proposals for its Effective Inter-religious Action in Peacebuilding (EIAP) Program with an aim to improve the evaluation practices of inter-religious action for peacebuilding by addressing three specific gaps in inter-religious peacebuilding efforts- measurement, cooperation, and policy.
Goals
- To generate guidance on how to evaluate inter-religious action for peacebuilding
- To develop a framework for ongoing learning regarding what constitutes effective inter-religious action for peacebuilding.
Funding Information
EIAP will award three grants ($10,000 each) and the implementation period of the grant will be from November 1, 2016 – April 30, 2017.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Call for Proposals is open to organizations working in the field of inter-religious action for peacebuilding.
- Priority will be given to national organizations from the Global South.
- Organizations that are based in the Global North are also welcome to apply if they do not have dedicated existing funding for project or program evaluation.
- Applicants will need to propose testing of projects or programs that are a stage for evaluation, including mid-term evaluation and final evaluation. Please note: Organizations that are based in the Global North are also welcome to test the Guide and provide input, but their participation will not be subsidized.
