The Better World Books is offering a unique opportunity for organizations dedicated to fostering early literacy in children from birth to five years old.
This year’s grants are designed to support Early Reader Projects that make a significant impact on young minds and contribute to building a foundation for a lifelong love of reading.
Better World Books is committed to promoting literacy and education globally, and these grants serve as a testament to their mission. If your organization is actively engaged in initiatives aimed at enhancing early learning experiences, they encourage you to submit your application.
Eligibility Criteria
- Better World Books Literacy Grants are typically awarded to organizations with a 501(c)(3) or other tax-exempt status. This includes, but is not limited to, libraries, pre- schools, public schools, nurseries, churches, and community centers.
- This year’s Literacy Grants are designed to foster early literacy in children from birth to five years old.
- The primary focus for each project awarded a Literacy Grant must be serving early literacy in children from birth to five years old.
- They are only able to accept one (1) application per organization. Additional applications will be disqualified from the selection process.
- The project that you are applying for needs to be either a current project or one that is planned to start within the next six (6) to nine (9) months maximum. The grant cannot be used for a project that is fully completed.
- The literacy project itself doesn’t have to be an English language project. The application itself must be completed in English.
