Apply for Reporters in the Field Program 2019

Deadline: 3 March 2019

Are you a reporter who thinks that cross-border journalism is a method to dig deeper, to discover blind spots and to counter false narratives? If yes, then apply for the grant “Reporters in the Field”.

Applicants are invited to apply for the program “Reporters in the Field” to support cross-border stories by media professionals from all over Europe.

It offers grants of up to 8,000 € to international teams who want to realize a cross-border and in-depth investigation on a story of their choice. Selected teams will receive funding, participate in a kickoff meeting and join their network.

Many relevant events are ahead of us in 2019: dealing with Brexit, the next elections to the European Parliament or the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the end of the Cold War. These are just some of many cross-border issues which concern all of us. That is why they believe: 2019 is an important year for supporting international journalistic projects across Europe.
