The City of Wodonga is accepting applications for its Young Achiever Scheme (YAS) to support young people, 24 years old and under, who display an outstanding commitment to and/or achievement in their chosen endeavour.
The scheme provides financial assistance to young people to participate, develop skills, compete, perform or represent Wodonga in their chosen endeavour at a local, state, national or international level.

Funding Information
- Individual
- $100 – local level
- $200 – state level
- $400 – national level
- $600 – international level.
- Groups
- $200 – local level
- $400 – state level
- $600 – national level
- $800 – international level.
Note: Financial assistance will be awarded until the annual YAS budget has been expended.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must meet the following criteria.
- Be 24 years of age or under at the conclusion of the activity.
- Must reside in Wodonga.
- Be participating, developing skills, competing, performing or representing Wodonga in their chosen endeavour at a
- local, state, national or international level.
- Be able to provide the council with proof of participation in the event/activity.
- Must not be paid for their performance or participation.
- Must attend council meeting in order to receive grant funding.
