The British Embassy Panama City is seeking applications for its Panama Programme Fund to create the right conditions for growth in Panama, seeking to deliver real, measurable outcomes in support of development in the country.
Funding Information
- Typical projects should range in value up to USD 13,000 (with a minimum bid size of USD 5,000) and should aim to work with organisations from the government, civil society and the private sector.
- Projects must have completed 85% of spend by the 31st December 2018, and completed all activities by the 31st March 2019.
Priorities
- Help Panama City leverage the 2022 regional multi-sporting event as a catalyst to deliver long-term, sustainable legacy for the city in terms of socio-economic development. Projects can address; sport development, community inclusion and participation, urban regeneration, commercial regeneration, sustainable transport and mobility solutions, among others.
- Smart Cities – increase the use of ‘smart city’ methodology and technologies, helping Panama deliver integrated, inclusive, smart and sustainable infrastructure.
- Support Panama’s vision to improve transport and mobility in urban areas.
