The United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management is seeking applications from the eligible organisations for a program entitled “Alaska, Recreation Capacity Building Partnership” with an aim to enter into an agreement with a broad-based organization who can work with other organizations and communities to demonstrate and involve the public in practices which promote a land ethic and assist in the management of safe and environmentally sound recreation.
This partnership(s) should accomplish the goal of providing support to BLM field offices to accomplish providing recreation opportunities that would otherwise not be provided. Goals for connecting with communities include the partner providing opportunities for the BLM to engage with communities and increasing public lands knowledge and land ethics and providing staff in the form of trail crews and specialized skill workers to assist the BLM.
Funding Information
- The expected individual award amount for current year funding is $12,000.00
- The total funding expected to be awarded through this announcement is$1,500,000.00.
