The United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management is seeking applications from the eligible organisations for a program entitled “CO Southwest District Human Impact Monitoring Research” with an aim to gain knowledge about physical impacts as a result of recreation.
This study is needed to provide data for a monitoring system (with the baseline data that has already been collected for certain areas) for related research which will investigate interactions between recreation use and resource protection within the BLM Colorado Southwest District.
Goals
- To continue to assess visitors satisfaction of their experience on recreational sites on public land.
- To keep sites up to safe standards for wildlife and human visitors.
Funding Information
- The expected individual award amount is $20,000.
- The total funding expected to be awarded through this announcement is $100,000.
