Deadline: 14-May-25
The Foras na Gaeilge is providing funding to appropriate committees to enable them to develop arts festivals or aspects of festivals that are run and delivered through the medium of Irish or that have the language-based arts as a central part of them.
This scheme focuses on festivals that aim to promote and promote the Irish language, language-based arts and Irish heritage through the medium of Irish or bilingually, as an integral part of the festival, and to provide a platform for the Irish language community, the wider community and the arts sector.
In addition, the aim of the scheme is to develop and foster opportunities for use and networking through the medium of the arts.
Grants are awarded with public funds, and Foras na Gaeilge has statutory obligations to ensure value for money for each funded project.
