The Rotary Club of Kingston invites applications for local not-for-profit organizations to submit grant applications to fund innovative community projects.
Projects aligning with their club’s goals to support initiatives that address needs of children & youth, children & adults living with disabilities, seniors, food security and/or the environment – and Rotary International’s Seven Areas of Focus will be accepted for consideration.
Focus Areas
- Promoting peace
- Fighting disease
- Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
- Saving mothers and children
- Supporting education
- Growing local economies
- Protecting the environment
Eligible Costs
- Only proposals requesting funds for specific projects and programs are considered.
Ineligible Costs
- They do not provide funding to cover operational budgets and will not consider requests that promote or encourage a specific religious belief or single-faith-based initiative; are associated with any political party or government entity; and/or are divisive, discriminatory, oppressive, or criminal.
- The club will not fund an organization’s operational budget (salaries, stipends, etc).
Eligibility Criteria
- The Community Outreach Grants Committee focuses on grant applications from organizations.
