Expected Outputs
- The major outputs in the emergency response in this CFEI includes:
- Rapid assessment, data collection and analysis: This output will include preliminary assessment of the impact caused by the disaster, needs assessment, vulnerability mapping, data collection and analysis as soon as a disaster strikes.
- Logistics management of UNICEF prepositioned supplies: UNICEF has prepositioned health supplies including medical tent, long lasting insecticide treated bednets (LLIN), newborn kits (clothes for newborn and mother), and oral rehydration salt (ORS) in warehouses in Kathmandu, Janakpur, Bhairahawa, Surkhet and Dhangadhi.
- Community engagement for improved health care Practices: Basic health services are disrupted during an emergency therefore, community engagement is very important for at risk population to have access to information on where and how to seek services.
- End user monitoring and accountability to the affected population Illustrative interventions
