Deadline: 10-Aug-2024
The Landscape Fire Management in the Western Balkans (LFMWB) is inviting proposals for the Community-based Competitive Fund which is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation – SDC, coordinated by Farmahem.
The overall goal of the call is to actively engage local communities in applying landscape fire management while safeguarding and maintaining landscapes and improving local livelihoods.
Community-based projects should be implemented in the Western Balkans region, particularly in areas vulnerable to fires. By empowering communities and emphasizing evidence-based practices, the LFMWB Programme paves the way for landscapes and livelihoods to be safeguarded from the devastating impact of fires and build a sustainable path toward effective LFM in the Western Balkans.
