The European Commission (EC) has launched a call for proposals responding to protection and long-term needs, supporting sustainable solutions for Central African refugees and host communities in Ubangi.
Objectives
- The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
- to strengthen the resilience and autonomy of Central African refugees and host communities, in particular women, children, people living with disabilities and those belonging to other vulnerable groups and
- provide durable solutions for Central African refugees and host communities, including women, children, people living with disabilities and those from other vulnerable groups
Priorities
- The priorities of this call for proposals are:
- Priority 1: Protection
- Priority 2: Assistance
- Priority 3: Sustainable solutions
Funding Information
- The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is 4,900,000 EUR.
- Any grant requested under this call for proposals must be between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
- amount: EUR 4,500,000
- amount: EUR 4,900,000
Duration
- The initial planned duration of an action cannot be less than 24 months nor exceed 30 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person and
- have no profit motive and
- be a non-governmental organization
- to be effectively established in a Member State of the European Union, in the DRC or in a:
- States, beneficiaries listed in the relevant Annex to the IPA III Regulation and Contracting Parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area;
- countries and territories included in the list of ODA recipients established by the OECD Development Assistance Committee and which are not members of the G20, as well as overseas countries and territories;
- countries, in the case of contracts implemented in an LDC or in a heavily indebted poor country included in the list of ODA recipients.
